Over 2-day, you’ll grasp the essential principles, roles, and events that form the backbone of the Scrum framework, equipping you to facilitate productive agile meetings immediately. Through four carefully structured modules, you’ll move progressively from understanding agile values and the Scrum Guide’s core elements, through practical application of Scrum events and artefacts, to navigating the human dimensions of team dynamics and collaboration. Rather than passively absorbing information, you’ll engage with real scenarios and facilitation techniques that you can apply directly in your first Scrum meetings. The workshop emphasises the servant leadership approach at the heart of Scrum. We will discuss how to remove obstacles, champion continuous improvement, and create an environment where teams can learn and grow together.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll understand your role not merely as a catalyst, as a change agent who engages stakeholders effectively and enables genuine organisational agility. You’ll gain the practical skills to facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives with confidence, whilst developing the emotional intelligence needed to navigate team dynamics and conflict with professionalism. We apply concepts based on “Training from the Back of the Room” (TBR) to provide a concise and practical training. The course is conceptualized to engage participants with plenty of interaction that bring topics alive: exploring metaphors, drawings, open question, and participants’ feedback.

The QSM-I Learning Objectives fall into the following main categories:
