THAT’S WHAT THIS TRAINING IS ALL ABOUT…
Agile, Scrum and Kanban became common terms in many workplaces these days. Instead of focusing on a single framework, this training aims at introducing course participants to agile fundamentals and its foundational concepts. It will equip attendees with a broad overview of different agile methods and practices, combined with a major emphasis on Scrum and Kanban: We will develop an understanding of the Agile Manifesto, its values and principles, and get familiar with navigating in complex environments.
Having completed the workshop, attendees can distinguish the different Scrum roles and responsibilities, and know the Scrum artifacts and events. They will be able to master the Scrum vocabulary, explain useful application of Scrum, and have insights into managing complex endeavours. Attending this class will equip them with knowledge and tools to work with and give them helpful insights on integrating into a Scrum team to fully benefit from the agile principles.
Participants will be familiar with Kanban’s Core Practices and Fundamental Principles and have the competence to track and read the standard metrics. They will be able to master Kanban concepts like Classes of Service, Service Level Agreements, and Cumulative Flow Diagrams. The workshop will touch upon popular Agile Scaling Frameworks, offering attendees an understanding of scaling challenges.
We apply concepts based on “Training from the Back of the Room” (TBR) to provide a concise and practical training. The course is conceptualized to engage participants with plenty action learning units that bring topics alive: exploring metaphors, using visualizations, discussing open questions, and building on participants’ feedback.
